This is a really adorable necklace. The locket really isn't big enough to hold much of anything, but I do wear it a lot. When I got mine several months ago, the item description said it was sterling silver and stainless steel. Unless they've changed the product, the locket is not sterling--it's stainless.

This necklace is great because it goes with everything. I'll wear it with a sundress, a tshirt or even a cocktail dress!
