How do I join Send the Trend?

It’s easy to get started. Here’s how:

1. Register: Provide your first name, a valid email address, and create a password.

2. Tell us about your style: by answering a few fun questions, we will get an idea of what your individual style is like and will then be able to recommend accessories and beauty items to you.

3. Shop! Oh, and don’t forget to read Talk is Chic and The Chic for tips, tricks and trends that are on our radar.

Say goodbye to your Gallery. Why? Product recommendations are now made just for you, on every page of the site!

How are products recommended to me?

Remember answering a few questions when you joined us? The more we get to know you, the better we can recommend you fabulous products. We recommend products to you based on your answers as well as on your shopping and browsing history.

What if I don’t see a product I want?

How do I reach a stylist?

How do I cancel my membership?

If you do decide to cancel, you may do so at any time. We strive to provide the best service we can, so you may cancel your membership by calling our Customer Service department at 1.877.262.4889 Monday - Friday 10:00 am-6:30 pm - EST.

What’s Send the Trend offering for holiday shopping and returns?

We’ve extended our 30-day return policy so that the holiday gifts you purchase October 10, 2012 through December 21, 2012 11:59 AM EST can be returned for any reason until January 31, 2013. You can exchange the item (if available) or you can return the gift for a full refund of the purchase price and original Shipping & Handling charges.

Why do I have to enter my credit card information every time I check out?

We have currently opted not to store any credit card information on our site which provides you with better control over the use of some of your information. We may, however, implement a different approach in the future.

Have Send the Trend’s prices changed?

Yes, instead of $29.95, $39.95, etc... our flat pricing tiers are now set at $28, $38, $48, etc. You’ll also see products with a variety of other prices outside of the flat pricing tiers. We no longer cover shipping costs, and the applicable shipping costs are displayed on each product detail page.

What is Last Look?

With Last Look, Send the Trend gives you your daily fashion fix! 7 days a week, 364 days a year, a must-have product is offered at an incredible price.

Can I purchase items from previous Last Looks?

Availability of the Last Look items featured is very limited. At times, however, we are able to obtain previous Last Look items, though the pricing may have changed. For questions on particular products, please contact Customer Service.

What are the ingredients in the beauty products featured on Send the Trend?

If you have any questions, please contact Customer Service at help@sendthetrend.com or 1.877.262.4889. All ingredients are furnishable upon request.

What is a Retail Value?

The Retail Value represents either an actual comparison-shopped price, or the price at which Send the Trend believes that the same or a comparable product would be offered by department stores or other retailers using a customary markup for that product category. The Retail Value does not necessarily represent the prevailing retail price in every community, and does not represent a price at which Send the Trend will sell a product.

Can I cancel my order once it’s been placed?

There are certain instances where an order can be adjusted after it’s been placed. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Please contact our Customer Service department at help@sendthetrend.com by noon EST to cancel or change orders that have been placed that day. Send the Trend cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made to orders.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and AMEX.

Send the Trend accepts payments by credit card through Sendthetrend.com. We do not accept payment by phone.

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card will be charged at the time you place the order on our site.

Does Send the Trend still offer free shipping?

No, we don’t. We know, it’s a bummer, but we can now offer you a wider variety of exciting products that we know you’re going to love! Plus, we may offer shipping promotions at certain times throughout the year.

How much is shipping?

We ship to any location within the contiguous United States. Prices vary depending on the type of shipping selected. Note that for an additional cost, we do offer expedited and one-day shipping within the contiguous U.S.

When you purchase more than one product from the same brand, you will pay full shipping and handling charges on the first product and only 50% of the shipping and handling charges on each additional product. All eligible products in the order must be from the same brand and must be shipped to the same address. The 50% discount will be applied to the lowest shipping and handling charges. Some restrictions may apply. Offer subject to change without notice.

Does Send the Trend ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

At this time, Send the Trend only ships within the contiguous United States. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

I have a P.O. Box. Can I request expedited shipping?

Yes, however please note that one business day will be added to your order’s arrival date.

What does “Expected Ship Date” mean?

This simply indicates the anticipated date on which your order will ship. If we are unable to send your order on or after this date, you will be notified by Customer Service and given the option to receive either a refund or a site credit, or to continue to wait for the item(s). Note that the option to wait is dependent upon product availability.

Why did I only receive one of the items I ordered?

Send the Trend ships from multiple distribution centers; therefore, you may receive your items separately. If you have not received your complete order after 2 weeks, please contact Customer Service by calling 877-262-4889 or sending an email to help@sendthetrend.com

What is Send the Trend’s return policy?

Note that for the holiday season, we have extended our 30-day return policy so that the gifts you purchase October 10, 2012 through December 21, 2012 11:59 AM EST can be returned for any reason until January 31, 2013. You can exchange the item (if available) or you can return the gift for a full refund of the purchase price and original Shipping & Handling charges.

Send the Trend wants you to love your purchase! If for any reason you do not, send it back within 30 days of receipt for exchange (if available) or full refund of the purchase price, less the applicable Send the Trend Return Label fee.

You have the choice of a refund or a site credit. If no preference is selected on your return slip, we will default to issuing a refund.

If your item is damaged in transit, or if Send the Trend sends the wrong item (hey, mistakes happen!), you will not be charged the price of the return label.

How do I return an item?

Simply follow the return instructions on the packslip that came with the item. Complete, detach, and enclose the return form with the item. Please be sure to fill in all information.

Why can’t my item ship to California?

Legal requirements arising under California Proposition 65 do not allow us to ship this item to California consumers at this time. Proposition 65 is a California law that requires special labeling and handling if consumer products contain certain regulated chemicals. For additional information, please review the Prop 65 law by visiting oehha.ca.gov/prop65.html.

I want to earn credits on Send the Trend. How can I?

1.) With our Give & Get program, send a friend an invite and a $10 credit. When they purchase, you get a $10 credit, too! Learn more on our 3 Ways to Earn Credits page.

2.) Share items you love on Facebook and Twitter. Every time a friend purchases from the link you have posted, you will receive a $5 credit on your Send the Trend account! Learn more on our 3 Ways to Earn Credits page.

3.) Express your style. Receive a $10 credit on your Send the Trend account every time someone makes a purchase from the My Style store you’ve created! Plus, if someone registers on Send the Trend for the first time after coming directly from the My Style store you’ve created, you will receive a $3 credit on your account. How do I redeem credits I’ve accrued?

Log onto www.sendthetrend.com and start by placing items you wish to purchase in your cart. Our system will automatically apply all other existing credits to your order total.

Do my Send the Trend credits expire?

Subscription credits you may have earned prior to June 1, 2012 do not expire. All other credits will expire one year from their date of issue, unless otherwise noted as part of a special promotion.
