First fashion memory: Watching my chic and funny grandmother in her dressing room, getting ready for dinner, wearing her navy houndstooth pants, a cardigan draped just-so and her signature silver sand dollar earrings.  I've been searching for another pair of those earrings for the past decade—maybe you’ll see them here…

In my dream closet you'd find: Levi's, Yohji, Ralph Lauren, Jil Sander, Tu cker, JAR, Alternative Apparel, Preen, Buccellati, Calvin Klein, Vivier, Danskin, Siriano, Yves Saint Laurent, Solange and LL Bean.  And a jewelry safe the size of a room!
The trend I'd like to start: Sunglasses 24/7 without feeling rude.

If I were on an island: I'd really hope it was Bali, but Manhattan does the job most days.
